Sasha's strength is her ability to connect with you and make you feel that she is on your level and that nothing is too much trouble. She makes you feel relaxed in her company and this makes it so much easier to ask questions, particularly given that you are extremely stressed having being diagnosed with cancer. Sasha is also very good at explaining the details of what the operation will entail and what you can expect from it. You really do feel that she is doing her absolute best for you and if reconstruction is necessary she really wants you to be happy with the end result. I would not hesitate to recommend Sasha

Ms Dua and her whole team at Broomfield are wonderful. They are all caring and reassuring and I couldn't have asked for better treatment. In what must be a very busy schedule, time was taken at all stages to explain and make sure that I understood. Many thanks to everyone, Veronica Eccles

From the moment of diagnosis, I felt that Miss Dua was on my side and trying to ensure the best outcome for me. She reassured me at every stage, talked through what was going to happen, and maintained the personal approach, an approach that many consultants seem to struggle with. The surgery itself was completely successful and with very little discomfort afterwards.

Sascha was very clear about the procedure I would need taking carefully into consideration that I was pregnant as well. She explained everything clearly so I understood and made sure the anaesthetic consultant informed me exactly what would be happening before my operation. She saw me straight after my operation and let me know how it went, giving me confidence that it was a success. She gave me all options for reconstruction afterwards as well as recuperation times and the positive and negatives for each, helping me make an informed decision.

Sascha is an an amazing doctor and surgeon, who from the outset of my mum's breast cancer diagnosis, has given my mum so much care and attention. From the first meeting, Sascha made her feel special and cared for, so that it made mum's diagnosis and treatment so much easier to bear. Sascha is kind, caring and thoughtful, always giving a patient her full attention and also listens to other family members. I think that she is one of the finest doctors I have encountered and Sascha and her team are a valuable asset to Broomfield Hospital.
